Bonding & Grounding — NEC Code Compliance

NEC Article 680 requires equipotential bonding of all metal components within 5 feet of the pool — including the pool shell, reinforcing steel, water, metal fittings, ladders, lights, pumps, motors, and metal conduit. This creates an equipotential bonding grid that prevents dangerous voltage differences.
We install and verify bonding connections using copper bonding conductors (minimum #8 AWG solid copper) connected with approved bonding clamps and lugs. Every bonding connection is tested and documented.
